The renovation of a historic bank into a neighborhood wine bar began by assisting the chef/owner in translating her written business plan into physical space. Her patrons were encouraged to slow down and linger at the table. Therefore, the front room was designed as a living room while the back tasting room was developed as a more intimate place for dining and education.
