Joshua Larson, AIA, CGBP, CAPS
Joshua Larson contributes over 6 years of professional architecture practice, and 5 years of construction management experience to LSA. Prior to founding LSA, Josh served as project estimator and manager for high-end residential contractor in Marin County where he oversaw the construction of a number of significant projects, ranging in budget from 50k – $12 million. Josh brings his understanding of materials, construction budgets, and construction means and methods to the design delivery of Larson Shores’ client experience.Joshua is a licensed architect and holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, College Station. Professional credentials include membership with the American Institute of Architects, certification as an Age-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) and certification as a Green Building Professional (CGBP). He is the winner and recipient of the prestigious John K. Branner traveling fellowship, the Peerless Prize, Academic Graduate Tuition Fellowship, and Malcolm Reynolds Portfolio award at UC Berkeley in addition to the Earnest Langford Architecture and Civic Award at TAMU.
In his spare time, Joshua enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, biking, swimming and tennis. Creative inspirations come from foreign cinema, museums, flea markets, and the natural environment. His creative outlet is expressed in a watercolor journal, samples of which are shown above.
